Scammed using teamviewer

Hi, My father today was scammed today by scammers asking him to install "teamviewer quicksupport screensharing" app and asking him to press "start broadcast". He has a iphone6. I am now concerned if scammers also would have transferred files from the phone. Does allowing the broadcast also enable scammers to transfer files without phone owner's knowledge or will there be a new prompt to allow file transfer? Can you please help? Also, please let us know any pointers to what to check/remove in the phone to remove any traces. Thanks!
