Disable Remote Input disables me too

There was an error rendering this rich post.

I connect to a remote PC.

I turn on Disable Remote Input.

Now I cannot control the mouse and keyboard remotely.

I turn off Disable Remote Input.

Now I can again work the mouse and keyboard.

When did this feature start working backwards? How do I fix this? Is it a bug?
