I have one particular site where we use TeamViewer to connect to a server remotely. We've been using this for about 3 years now. About 6-12 months ago the TV session became unbearably slow.
By slow, I mean:
- when connecting, 5 seconds to render the entire screen, block at a time
- typing this sentence would take 30-40 seconds to fully appear in the remote application
We can still connect to the server and can run an "internet speed test" and it shows the 85Mbps down and 81Mbps up - you wouldn't know it from the TV session though!
We are using the Commercial license, but the TV website has recently changed so we can't sign in as our account 🙄 (can't believe this emoji was not the first one in the list given the forum I'm on)
The server has plenty of free RAM and is not maxing out CPU.
I'm wondering if the fact the server is behind a load balanced network connection would be part of the issue? I'm grasping at straws here - but is there anything else I can check (maybe in the log file?). OTOH if there is a mod watching, I'd love to get some love for the support we pay for.
Thanks!
