Keep session alive with logout & login?

I have the need of being able to login as a specific user on a remote computer in order to perform an installation from SCCM. When a user contacts me and starts TV QuickSupport (V15.9.4) i can connect using my Windows Admin account. But when connected I need to run Software Center from SCCM with a specific user in order to install a particular program. Is there a way to keep the session alive while switching logged on user on the remote windows 10 computer?

Hello @kmlunde,

Yes, you can keep the session alive.

However, you will need to install the TeamViewer full client, or the TeamViewer Host to achieve this.

The following is not possible via QuickSupport.

On a server OS, there is always a server ID, additionally, each user profile will have a unique user ID.

If you connect to the user ID rather than the server ID then this message appears if there is no active RDP session into the specific user (or it is minimised).

The user ID is only online when there is an active RDP session as otherwise the server would not generate a desktop and hence there is no screen for TeamViewer to grab.

In most scenarios it is the server ID which is where users want to connect into. The server ID is always online and accessible.
