How do I connect with someone who I want to access their computer?

I am trying to access a clients QB and don't know how to gain access to his computer.

He also has the free version loaded on his computer.

I am on the screen that says ALLOW REMOTE CONTROL/CONTROL REMOTE COMPUTER

I have his Partner ID and when I hit the CONNECT, it wants his password but what he's given me doesn;t work.
