Hello, until recently we worked perfectly fine using quick support V8 on our customer windows machines with a preset password. Due to V8 being EOL we where forced to upgrade this to V15.
However, our preset password isn't always working and we are prompted to enter the password. When we try to login we get asked for a password. Sometimes the customer has a generated password on their end and we can use that but there are also moments where password only shows **** on their end and our preset password does not work.
The customer machine does not run any other version of teamviewer. No full version is installed. Restarting the machine or teamviewer sometimes works but restarting the machine is not always an option.
The set password is a 4 digit password. The Quick support is an official made version (not even sure of there is another way to do this btw). If 4 digit passwords wouldn't be strong enough and therefor rejected, we shouldn't be able to set it up that way.
Does anyone have a fix for this? This is hindering our support work in an unacceptable way and would lead us away from teamviewer if we cannot resolve this. We also use this to do support work like updating outside the working hours of the customer so there is no-one that can provide us with the password.
