Shutting off all versions prior to 15 is a major disruption to business and feels like a violation of the agreement. It's really unacceptable that we are being FORCED to stop using v14. We will most likely have to discontinue our use entirely because of this since we have to work around it now anyway so why bother trying to upgrade and pay more to a company that apparently is set on abusing customers.

    Hello @YadinF

    Thanks for your post.

We are not shutting down all versions prior to version 15.

The only versions with planned deprecation are versions 8 - 10

There is no planned deprecation of version 11 or higher at this time.

Then please explain why version 14 is not being allowed to run for more than 5 min with messages that we must upgrade to v15 and it won't work at all in a few weeks. The link we're taken to agrees with your statement of 10 and earlier, but the software is behaving differently, and all versions prior to 15 are being shut down.

    Hello @YadinF

Please verify that the device you are connecting to is not running version 8, 9, or 10. This can be found in Help -> About TeamViewer.

If the remote device is running an older version, please update it to your latest version (version 14, if you have a version 14 license).

As there is currently no planned deprecation of version 14 (nor 11, 12, or 13), should the issue persist please contact our support teams directly so they may look into the case.

You can find local numbers here:

We are using v14 as stated.

Your support site does not appear to work. It either routes to a forum post that says to use the forums to get support, or it loops through asking repeatedly to give permission to something which makes no sense. The chat system is equally useless and also points to the forums.

I hear that teamviewer versions 5-10 are being discontinued sept 15th and a newer version of teamviewer is offered but it says nothing about teamviewer version 11.

    Hi @Moe29,

Thank you for contacting TeamViewer Community.

Version 12 isn't subject to this matter, thus you can continue to use version 12.

Regarding the update notification, please kindly to check both local and remote devices are using version 12. If any device using TeamViewer version 9 or 10, the connection won't established from 15.09.2021. Thus, please upgrade to version 12, and you can downloads version 12 from here.

    Hope this would be helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Akiho

When will TeamViewer 12 be discontinued and if it is discontinued, will we still be able to use this version to remotely access devices at remote sites?
