TeamViewer not starting

TeamViewer has worked perfectly for years, but in the last few weeks it often hangs at the "TeamViewer is starting" screen and will not login, does anyone know why this is happening? I need to use it, but more and more often cannot.

    Thank you for your message.


    Have you changed anything on your setup or TeamViewer in the past weeks?


    Firstly, you could try starting as an administrator to see if that fixes it.

    Check out your internet connection and all permissions on your device so that TeamViewer can properly boot up and communicate. For example, all the ports that TeamViewer uses:



    If you're starting TeamViewer manually, you may try to start it with Windows.

    Another point you should try, is updating TeamViewer to our newest version (15.20.6), you can do so here:



    Last but not least, you could try reinstalling TeamViewer on your device.
