How do I remote control iOS from Mac?

Trying to access my mothers iPad to help her. The Screen sharing is working but I can not remote control.

Is this not possible in the non commercial version of Team Viewer?

Tried to control her iPad both from my own iPad and my Mac computer.

Unfortunately that TeamViewer may ONLY work for screen-sharing on iOS and iPAD devices at the moment. More information can be found from this article
