I have been trying for the past few weeks to connect my tablet to my computer via TeamViewer. I've been getting the dreaded 'No connection established. Please check your internet connection and try again' error message. I've dredged through the darkest recesses of the help threads from other people who have suffered this same curse from years ago. Every suggestion has resulted in failure. This enigma is driving me to the brink of insanity, unwilling to give up its Eldritch Truths.
What I have tried:
- Opening Port 5938 as many moderators have suggested on other posts. No dice.
- Allowing special permissions on the tablet device for the app. Nada.
- Clearing the cache of the app and device then resetting. Nothing.
- Attempting to use mobile data as opposed to WiFi. Still nothing.
- Made sure to have the correct version installed for the device. Nope.
It works perfectly fine on my computer. It's just on the tablet end that it just doesn't want to connect. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A7 Tablet if that information is of any use to anyone. Even going to the 'Computers & Contacts' and 'Chat' tabs simply brings up a loading animation but never actually loads anything. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong or if I should just accept that my technology curse lives on and wants to prevent convenience.
