I am a brand new user and have found I cannot connect to the other user as the address is not found. How can I resolve this problem?

Email address is used for TeamViewer account, but not for a TeamViewer remote session.
Instead, it requires TeamViewer ID and password. You can find them from Remote Control tab.
For incoming connection, please tell your TeamViewer ID and password which is shown under Allow Remote Control to the person who is connecting to your device,
For outgoing connections, you can also use Control Remote Computer, please type TeamViewer ID and password for the device you are trying to connect to.

Which ID are they supposed to be using? My log on ID which is numbers or my name?
