I am primarily using TeamViewer to connect to a Windows Server. I am having no issues with using it with a Windows laptop. However, I am very limited in what I can do with a Mac desktop. There does not seem to be VPN support (the support article on VPN is about Windows and references menus that don't exist on the Mac)---I would love to be able to use an IP address to link into the shares on the Windows server.
I'm basically limited to using the file transfer dialog, but that seems to have some odd behavior---I try to time-stamp my source files to indicate the version of my software when they were first incorporated, but if I try to copy a version of a file which differs only in the modification date, it doesn't copy. Basically just says it's done with no change. It works properly (asking about overwrite) if the file has been edited from the version on the Mac.
