The Teamviewer Android app fluctuates, colliding with Android's Home Screen Buttons

Hello,
After establishing a connection from Android (Samsung Galaxy S8+ with Android 9) to a Windows PC, the Teamviewer app jumps between windowed to full-screen views on the phone, in a high enough frequency (maybe 4~6 times per second).
Changing the phone's orientation sometimes resolves the problem for a little while, but not always and not for long.
This also happens on my Z-Fold3 with Android 11, regardless of screen orientation.
Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
