big sur log in issues

trying to log in from High Sierra (v15) remote to Big Sur (v15) at home.

It takes way more time than with previous OS.

And if I need to retrieve something at home again, I need to restart the HS Mac before it'll work again to the BS Mac at home.

Are there new settings to be made with Big Sur or are there issues with BS and TV v15?

I've done the same thing from my Android phone to Big Sur at home with no issues.
