Hi,

I have a question about TeamViewer software logging: does TeamViewer keep logfiles of connections and sessions made to my computer, whether incoming or outgoing, in their database servers? What types of records/logfiles does TeamViewer keep?

the reason I asked is because I realised TeamViewer was installed on my Laptop (as root) for three months and have been working in the background. I tried to look for any logfile with the help of an advanced IT professional but everything was erased (brand new laptop) and there is no traces of TeamViewer. I have screenshots of the TeamViewer ID, and of the CPU showing TeamViewer working in the background (from the root, not as admin), and I am considering subpoena the records through court but I want to know whether TeamViewer company maintains or keeps any logfiles of the software that’s installed on my laptop. I have already lost my job because of breach of info and logfiles could save lives as it would to help to understand what happened.

TeamViewer logfile is for TeamViewer staff to identify historical actions, technical troubleshooting and bug find in TeamViewer.
