Corporate Users are shown "Free" and are bugged to buy after we upgraded to 15

Which I'm going to freely say was a mistake. Everything worked with 12. 15 has been nothing but a hassle since we bought it.

Dear Teamviewer stop trying to cram every feature under the sun into your product and stick to the basics that made us buy your product in the first place.

So with that said, The users are registered under company users but their license refuses to update. So every time they start the program they get the "BUY ME NOW" pop-up.

And it's not all the users it's only a few of them.

I opened a ticket with TV support, the support person looked at the issue, said "That shouldn't be happening" and I haven't heard back from him since.

I'm to the point that I am going uninstall 15 and go back to 12.

Thank you for your answer Natascha I called support and we worked it out.

Now I have the problem that the Activation emails are not being sent.

As I said before, 12 was the better product in as far as ease of use goes.

But since we bought 15 I'll get it working.

I want to give you some background information regarding the licensing issue that might apply in your case:

Version 12: The license was most likely activated on the device directly. Maybe you remember the procedure to enter your license key within the TeamViewer software? This changed and therefore, in
Version 15: The license needs to be activated on your TeamViewer account. These circumstances may lead into the following scenario, where
Your V12 license is still active on the devices of your colleagues and clashes with the license in V15 that is activated on their TeamViewer accounts. TeamViewer treats the license that is active on the device directly "higher" than the account licensing.

The above-mentioned is just one possibility that just came to my mind when I read your inquiry. And it's only manageable by the colleagues from support.

Therefore, I kindly ask you to either

give them a call and talk to them to discuss your case directly on the phone or
send an answer to the already open ticket to have further discussions.
