Get Host Audio from a Hyper-V Virtual Machine

Using Windows' Remote Desktop, when I connect to a Hyper-V VM, I get the audio on the remote machine I'm using from the VM's virtual audio source. It's all automatic with no special configuration required. Audio is just there same as the video feed. I'm new to TeamViewer and so far can't find how to do the same in TeamViewer.

On the client machine (the remote one I'm using to access the VM) under Options -> Remote Control, "Play computer sounds and music" is checked. But when I look at the audio settings on the host (the distant VM I'm trying to access), it shows "No device detected" for Speakers and so it won't produce any audio.

Is there a way to address this so I that I can perform tasks that require access to audio from the VM host?

I found a suggestion to add VB-Cable to add a virtual audio driver so TeamViewer could then redirect it to my local client. I've done that and I can see that audio is now playing on the distant host, but I still don't get any audio through TeamViewer. This is the only audio device on the host, set as default. When I run audio checks on the device, I can see the meters move, so Windows definitely thinks it's playing audio over the virtual device.

Any suggestions to get audio through TeamViewer? I really need to get this working, as manipulating recorded audio files is one of my core reasons for needing remote access.
