Copy Paste Errors

I have Windows 10.0.19044.1706 running under VMware Fusion 12.2.3 on a Intel MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.3.1

TeamViewer 15.29.4 is installed on this Mac.

I have a M1 MacBook Pro running the same versions of macOS and TV.

If I copy paste data from Win10 to M1 Mac, it is all garbled (it is just code, pure text).

If I copy paste from Win10 to the Intel Mac (host), and from there to M1 Mac, it copy pastes fine.

What gives? Why do I get garbled data?

Seems like this just started happening "recently". Before everything used to work fine.
