Why is there no password displaying sometimes?

We have several users with TeamViewer Host 14 installed. The random password setting is set to 6 characters however, often the password does not display for them. The work around is to disable the random generated password and then put it back to using 6 characters.

Just wondering if this is a known bug with TeamViewer host 14 and/or if there is a permanent fix?
