Great to see you posting for the first time!
In most cases, connecting to the Host won't require permission each time you connect.
However, some manufacturers have enforced an additional security layer (e.g. Google Pixel phones) that requires allowing the connection each time you connect.
What is the device you are trying to connect to?

Thank you for the response JeanK. I am using two Samsung Android phones - From what I found in the YouTube video below I am now able to get an unattended connection (but seem to need a very strong wi-fi connect at the control phone).
