Does any have remote access problems FROM MAC BOOK to an IPAD BEFORE?

I’m based in the uk and signed for a free account but my friend based in the US has not been able to gain remote access to my IPad Pro from his MacBook Pro. Could anyone help with this issue? He gets messages saying “this device is not able to receive connections” or something like that.

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!

It sounds like the incorrect app may be on the iPad - please know that, for mobile devices, there are separate apps for incoming and outgoing connections; as such, the apps would have different IDs.

The TeamViewer for Remote Control app is for outgoing connections only; this app will not allow a connection to occur when using the ID. Instead, the error you encountered will appear.

For iOS, please install the TeamViewer QuickSupport app; you should be able to accept the connection when attempting it this way.
