Hello all.

During the session When I use team viewer program to do some process on another computer. Is there ability to make the monitor of the other computer turn off till I complete my maintenance process..

If you have a license, you have the possibility to enable the TeamViewer Black Screen feature.

Strictly speaking, you cannot turn off the monitor of the other computer but you can hide the remote screen in connections into a full-screen security image.

Thanks a lot for your assistance. 1.Do I Need tow a license TeamViewer software on local & Remote computers to have the possibility to enable the TeamViewer Black Screen feature?.

2. When I active the TeamViewer Black Screen will you confirm that the black screen will stay black with any trying like mouse movement or typing on the keyboard... etc. till I sign out the station?.

Hi @Mlaal,

Indeed, you need a TeamViewer license to enable the TeamViewer Black Screen, but you don't need it on both sides of the connection.

As this feature has to be activated from the local device, only a TeamViewer license needs to be recognized on your local computer.

Regarding your second question, it is possible to also disable remote input during your connection to the remote device. With that, the remote user can neither see the screen nor do any action with the mouse and keyboard.
