how can i start teamviewer?

in Linux only
team viewer will not start icon keeps rotating it never gets past here.

i have not changed anything except Linux Mint updates, perhaps there is a new conflict with the updates?

Try to restart your daemon:
sudo systemctl restart teamviewerd

nope, that changed nothing, circle dots keep spinning. i even deleted and re installed, still no change

Try this command:
sudo lsof -n -i TCP|grep teamview
Should return something like:
teamviewe 1975 root 12u IPv4 40913 0t0 TCP 127.0.0.1:5939 (LISTEN)

go into settings and under General, change Network Lan setting from accept exclusively to accept. Mine started working……………
