Unable to Establish Connection Between Windows 10 and macOS Using TeamViewer
Hello Community,
I'm currently facing an issue while trying to establish a remote connection between a Windows 10 PC and a macOS device using TeamViewer. I've followed the usual steps, but the connection doesn't seem to establish successfully.
Here are the details of my setup:
-1. **Device 1**: Windows 10 PC
- Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
- TeamViewer Version: 15.14.5
- Network Connection: Stable high-speed internet
-2. **Device 2**: MacBook Pro
- Operating System: macOS Big Sur (11.4)
- TeamViewer Version: 15.21.4
- Network Connection: Also on stable high-speed internet
Steps I've taken:
1. Installed TeamViewer on both devices.
2. Logged in to my TeamViewer accounts on both devices.
3. Entered the partner ID of the opposite device in the "Partner ID" field.
4. Clicked the "Connect" button.
The issue I'm facing:
Despite following these steps, the connection does not establish. The remote desktop window opens, but it remains blank, and I don't see any of the remote macOS screen. I've waited for a while, but there's no change.
I've checked my internet connections on both devices, and they are stable. Additionally, I've successfully used TeamViewer to connect between Windows devices before, so I'm not sure why I'm experiencing this problem specifically with the macOS device.
Could anyone please help me troubleshoot this issue? Are there any specific settings I should check or steps I might have missed? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
