I am helping my sister-in-law convert from using a MAC system to a PC. She has Windows 11 on her new computer. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. Will I be able to help her using the free TeamViewer when she has questions or problems with something? Do I need to update to Windows 11?

The devices can be in different operating systems.😄

Therefore, you can use your Windows 10 laptop to remotely connect to the partner using Windows 11 and vice versa.

TeamViewer is a great multiplatform sofware. You can even connect between different versions of macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. For example, using an Android phone to remotely connect to a macOS laptop.

Are you getting any error messages when you try to connect? If yes, could you provide the error message or more details of the issue?

This does not really answer my question. I know both of our devices can use it. I need to know if they both have to have the same operating system such as Windows 11.
