I have been working remotely from my Mac to my client's PC through Teamviewer for a few years now. Until a few weeks ago everything was working fine, but now a lot of things are stopping me from working in InDesign and Illustrator.
When I am using InDesign (and only in some jobs and not others), there are a few things which won't work unless I close the programme and sometimes the whole connection with Teamviewer. Here are some of the common problems:
I can't save the job, it tells me I have to save it as a 'copy'. I have to save it as a copy and then close the job, delete the old one and then it won't allow me to rename it.
When I move a text box or picture box around holding down the shortcut, it creates doubles which I then can't delete - I have to use 'cut' and then close the job because it will carry on duplicating the box.
I can't pull the corner of a picture box out to enlarge it, just doesn't allow me to do it.
There are a few other things which come and go and are equally annoying. I have reinstalled Teamviewer on my Mac and for a day it was working OK, now the quirks have come back.
If anyone knows an answer to this I would be very grateful as it's stopping me from working properly.
