Using TeamViewer to manage smart TVs
Hi,
My name is Haim and I'm the Helpdesk team leader of an academic college in Israel.
We had a request to replace our clocks in the classes to a synced clock (to help with the daylight savings).
We were considering replacing the clocks with smart TVs running Andorid TV, so we brought a cheap MAG smart TV and I installed Teamviewer QS on it and it seems that there is no option to log into a Teamviewer account in order to manage the device, maybe I'm missing something?
When I try to remote control the device using the ID on the TV I cannot log in when the app is minimized, is there a setting to be changed to apply unattended access?
Also, after I connect to the TV using the ID while being on the app I can't control anything, but the app says that remote control is allowed, what could cause this?
