Free version - keep getting disconnected from client PC

I have been helping my father who lives in another state with his computer. He is using the TeamViewerQuickSupport program. I am using the full free version. In the last week, I keep running into a problem where the connection freezes and I cannot see his current screen. Sometimes I can refresh the screen and get it back, sometimes not. Sometimes I can open a new connection to his computer, and the new screen will keep updating until it freezes. Then I have to open another session. Or else, we both have to restart TeamViewer altogether. He is running the most current version of the QuickSupport program. I am using THE most current version of TeamViewer. At least that is what it tells me. Has anyone else ran into a similar issue? Thanks.

  • I do the same thing, helping my 90 year old Mom, and it keeps telling me I'm reach my limit. Then I go through the web console and am able to fix what she is having problems with.

    You might try to use the web console it works and provides simular access.
