Not receiving confirmation email on a free account

I have been using the free account to help my mother keep her computer secure (I'm a network engineer). We both have our own free accounts, and have not had any issues for years. A couple of months ago she got a new computer because her previous one had died. When we reinstalled TV on the new computer I attempted to sign into her account so we could continue as we had before, and it requested confirmation via email. I understood this, because it was a new NIC and probably new IP. But the email never arrived in her email account. I've checked all appropriate junk folders, it's not there.

Now it's been two months later, and there's still no email. What do we need to do to get this fixed, because calling doesn't work since we didn't buy a license?
