I cannot connect to another computer, there is not even the option available

To start and receive a connection, please download the TeamViewer Full Client or use our web app - TeamViewer Host and TeamViewer QuickSupport only receive remote sessions.
A valid TeamViewer account is also required to remotely connect to a partner device.
