Will Teamviewer acknowledge the non-viability of Android for a WOL remote?

Teamviewer has a video on YouTube titled, “Android Wake-on-LAN Feature.” It shows a display of remote computers on an Android phone with one of them exhibiting a wake-up symbol. The user clicks it, and the host computer’s screen appears.

I have wake-on-lan properly configured for my PC. It can be woken up by another PC, an Apple IPad, or a third-party program. But it cannot be woken up by Teamviewer on an Android (I have the latest version). The wake-up symbol never appears. The sleeping WOL computer just appears the same as all the other offline computers and any attempt to connect to it produces a failure message.

I see where other users have reported this problem without a satisfactory response from Teamviewer … just a cut-and-paste about how a wake-on-lan host must be set up that disregards how it can already be woken up by everything BUT the Android Teamviewer. Can somebody at Teamviewer please attempt to wake up a WOL unit from an Android and confirm that -- contrary to the YouTube video -- it can’t be done? The video should be taken down until it can be.
