I use TV solely for Non-commerical uses, helping friends and family etc.
Last month, I signed up for a Business Trial License after it seemed my account had been blocked for suspected commercial use and I needed to help someone out then and there.
That worked well, and I cancelled the trial before the end date.
Since then, my account has been restored to a free license version.
However, my main computer has been rendered useless with this error message whenever I try to connect to any ID (even QS on a fresh device):
After some help from support I was able to connect freely again from my account to other IDs from the web app and also my laptop when logged into my TeamViewer account.
However my main computer is still not able. Nobody in email or phone support has been able to umblock it.
- Even if I log into a new free Teamviewer account on it, it still doesn't work.
- Even on a new seperate User account in macOS. Same issue.
So far I've tried:
- Completely uninstalling Teamviewer (using the Advanced Settings Uninstall button with the 'Also delete configuration files' checkbox ticked.
- Deleting any other reference to Teamviewer files in the system
- inside /Library
- Inside ~/Library
- Restarting
- Reinstalling TeamViewer
I'm looking for a definitive answer as to how to use TeamViewer again on this machine, since the block seems to be tied to the machine itslef (ID, name, hardware ID of some kind?)
