A password is not being created

I recently reinstalled Teamviewer and now I can not get a password for receiving support on remote access. I have done all the normal fixes. I have changed the number a letters in the password, changed it to disabled and back to allowed. I have reinstalled 3 times and nothing helps.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with getting a password.

Are you seeing a dash instead of a password?

If so, that can be related to your one-time access feature being enabled. We would recommend disabling that feature. Here is how:

1. In Advanced Settings, click on Security.
2. Uncheck the Enable One-Time Access feature box.

Please make sure this box is unchecked and generate a password.
