Could you confirm the OS on both sides of the connection and the TeamViewer version currently being used on them?

One is Mac and the other is windows 10

If your Windows and Mac devices are supported by the newest version of TeamViewer, try uninstalling TeamViewer removing all settings
and reinstalling it again.
