Hi @Brett,
Thank you for your question. 😀
In my previous post, I walked through how to set up TeamViewer Host on the remote device (i.e., the device being connected to), instead of using the full TeamViewer client. This time, I’ll show you how to use the TeamViewer Full Client on the remote device instead.
2. Please follow these step-by-step instructions in this article to manage the remote device for setting up unattended access. Please do this setup on your remote device, not on your local/supporter's device: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/remote-control/provide-unattended-remote-support/?tab=tabcomponent-78def1310b-item-8e5cb34a77#:~:text=Step%201%3A%20Set%20up%20remote%20access%20on%20your%20remote%20device
I hope this helps☺️

FIRST THINGS FIRST…Thanks for responding and sticking with me on these issues!!
#2: PLEASE call me Brett or Mr. Brett. BBasford makes me feel old.
Q1: I have provided screenshots for each Teamviewer screen and do NOT see Manage the device
Remote Control
Remote Management
Meeting
Computers & Contacts
Chat
Augmented Reality
More Solutions
And yes, I know I am not signed in.
Q2: I trust you will have the appropriate team the case to my [removed per CommunityGuidelines] email address as soon as possible and someone will notify me via email.
Q3: I assume you will have the appropriate team remove the block on my account and notify me via email. I request this be done as soon as possible as the 1-5 min sessions make it a royal pain.
Thanks again for all of you support during all of this morass.

Hi @BBasford,
Regarding Q1:
Step 1: Could you please download and install TeamViewer Host on your remote device using the following link?
Step 2: Once the installation is complete, could you open the Host module?
Step 3: Do you see the "Manage this device" option highlighted in orange, as shown in the image below?
If you're unable to locate the "Manage this device" button, would you mind letting me know which step (1 to 3) was unclear or where you encountered difficulty?
Regarding Q2:
Thank you for letting us know. I will forward your feedback to our dedicated team.
I’ll be happy to assist further! 😊
Chisa -
Q1: I went through all of the options and did not find "Manage this device." I guess I need more clear and explicit instructions on how to get to "Manage this device."
Q2: I get that but in the past, BBasford has been linked to a case with no issue. Besides the cost of a licensed copy of Teamviewer is WAY too expensive!!!!!!
Q3: Thanks for responding. I have completed the form!!!!!
…B
Thank you for getting back to us! 😊
Answer to Q1
You can download the TeamViewer Host module on your remote device using this link : https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/portal/windows/#:~:text=Download%20(32%2Dbit)-,TeamViewer%20Host,-If%20you%20want
Once installed, please open the Host module and look for the "Manage this device" option, as shown in the image below.
Answer to Q2
The message you're seeing suggests that your email address isn't currently linked to a valid license. As a result, access to customer support is restricted. Please note that only licensed users are eligible for direct support from our customer support team.
Answer to Q3
You mentioned that “the session terminates in 5 minutes or less”, which typically means your account has been flagged for potential commercial use and is temporarily blocked from starting sessions.
To resolve this, please complete the reset form here:
👉 Reset Management - TeamViewer
Make sure to include all relevant TeamViewer IDs—both from your local device and your family members' remote devices.
I hope this helps clarify everything! Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
Chisa_R - I do not mean to pushing but I need help on all THREE issues.
Thanks…B
Where do I find "Manage this device?"
I guess I should have added that this used to work but now it does not.
Also, I did not see anything about this, "My mother lives in Jacksonville, FL, and I help her quite often because I am the technical person in the family. Every time I log on to her PC using TeamViewer, the session terminates in 5 minutes or less. If my account is blocked for some reason, I kindly request and please post the detailed process to unblock the account."

To set up unattended access, one of the easiest and most reliable methods is by using TeamViewer Host. Here's a quick guide to get you started:
For more detailed instructions, please refer to our dedicated guide: 👉 Provide unattended remote support
If your session is ending after just a few minutes, it may be due to TeamViewer detecting potential commercial use. Please follow the steps below:
Please complete the reset form here: 👉 Reset Management - TeamViewer

I have several questions as follows:
• The new TeamViewer UI is very confusing. Could someone provide detailed and step-by-step instructions for setting up unattended access?
• As per this message "We could not link your email address to an existing ticket; therefore, your message will not reach our support team" which was sent to a personnel email address and this email address is the ONLY email address I have with TeamViewer. What do I do with this issue? I sent this issue to TeamViewer and they said that any attempts to update TV on this issue would go unanswered 😒
• My mother lives in Jacksonville, FL, and I help her quite often because I am the technical person in the family. Every time I log on to her PC using TeamViewer, the session terminates in 5 minutes or less. If my account is blocked for some reason, I kindly request and please post the detailed process to unblock the account.
I really hope to hear back soon from the TeamViewer community.
