I hit connect. It say it is awaking authentication and nothing ever happens. Why?
Thanks for the replies and the screenshot! @samowens
Is it the screenshot from the TeamViewer client on the remote device?
Is it possible for the supporter side to input the remote's password to complete the authentication? The random password can be found on the Remote Support tab below the TeamViewer ID from the remote TeamViewer.

In any case, the random password has no show and is disabled. Let's try a different connection method. Check the TeamViewer on the supporter's side to start an Easy Access connection. You may check out the option under connection methods.

Let me know if the information above is clear to you, and I hope to hear the update about the connection too!

Hi @samowens,
Welcome to the Community, and thanks for sharing your scenario with us!
Sorry to hear that you experienced a connection hiccup at the authentication stage. Please check the TeamViewer version and ensure it is the latest version for remote connection.
At the same time, to better understand the connection set up, can you share the screenshot of the connection, and the TeamViewer client type you have chosen for the connection on both sides please?
