Session ID expired (macOS)

I tried to connect to a friends Windows 11 PC Home through a TV 15.73.5 under macOS 15.7.3.

I entered the friends session ID and before already before I got asked for the password TV told me that the session ID was "abgelaufen" (expired).

I then switched over to my Windows 10 (Parallels) installation and connected through the TV client there (15.73.5) and it worked fine.

As mentioned in the German Community, supporters who initiate a remote connection are required to have a TeamViewer account and be signed in. This ensures an additional layer of security when accessing remote devices.
Feel free to try initiating a connection by following the steps in the Knowledge Base articles I shared in my previous post. 😊

Thanks. I tried again in my home network between two windows computers. Same picture. In one (Windows 11) I have started TV. On the other (client, Windows 10) I tried to connect and get the same message "Sitzungscode abgelaufen"

The error message indicates that the Session ID you used was outdated. Could you please try connecting again to see if the session can be established by referring to the articles that explain the different ways to start a remote session:

💡Please ensure that both the local and remote TeamViewer modules are fully up to date, and restart the applications on both sides for the best experience.

Please try connecting again from your macOS 15.7.3 device to your friend's Windows 11 PC. If the session still doesn’t start, please let us know which connection method you used from the articles above and share the exact error message you receive.
