The Request
I’d love to see TeamViewer add native support for Windows 11 Snap Layouts (the popup that appears when hovering over a window's maximize button) during remote control sessions.
Why this is needed:
Currently, remote session windows DO NOT allow for this convenience improvement but the main window does. On remote session windows the only option is to drag an open window to the top of the desktop and drag further to the half, third, or quadrant I want the window to appear and fit.
This method is tedious and can be problematic if a Bluetooth mouse moves out of range or receives interference.
Proposed Benefit:
- Workflow Parity: Allows users to manage remote session windows with the same speed and ease as more recent applications.
- Enhanced UX: Improves the experience for power users working on high-resolution or ultra-wide remote monitors.
- Modernization: Aligns TeamViewer’s GUI with current Windows 11 UI standards.
Supporting this native OS feature would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for anyone managing multiple remote sessions at once.
Thank you!
