ERROR: "A remote access connection can only be established to a licensed computer"

Question

I purchased a "remote access license" for my laptop, I went to the email after the purchase and activated my license. So this license is already activated to my account.

Whenever I try to connect to any computer, I always get his error: "A remote access connection can only be established to a licensed computer". I have logged in with my account in that PC and I have granted "easy access", but it still doesn't work.

I paid $300 for this license and its absolutely useless to me.

This didnt help at all. I bought TV to help my clients, therefore they do not need a license, only I do. Im getting pretty frustrated and if your techs take a look, they can see that I have not been able to connect to any client. Truthfully, I think I connected on the first day I got the license, then nothing after that. Im almost at the point of asking for a refund. Theres no way it should be this difficult to use.

As a final try, I downloaded TVQS and added the new ID and password and I get the same error. Please help, or refund my purchase. As of now, its useless to me.

For a Remote Access license, you need to complete a specific configuration on the remote devices before connecting. This setup is different from the standard “Easy Access” configuration.

Please review Step 3 and Step 4 in the following article, Activate and set up your Remote Access license
