How to access and navigate my laptop from my phone

Question

I've managed to install TV on my laptop and phone, but I can't actually do anything with my laptop from my phone.

First of all, every iteration of my laptop version of TV generates a new password, so I have no way of remotely knowing it.

Then, when I do get both versions going on my laptop and phone because I have them both before me, I can't do anything with my phone that has any effect on the laptop.

What am I missing?

I appreciate your response very much Chisa, but I ran into too many issues during the installation and attempt to complete the setup.

It's just more trouble than it's worth for me.

TeamViewer offers multiple apps, so please make sure you have the correct one installed.
* Have you completed the unattended access setup on your PC?
