Black screen locked

I am running the free version of Teamviewer. Prior to the most recent upgrade I had set the option to have a black screen on the remote workstation. After the most recent upgrade I am now unable to turn off black screen. I get a message that black screen toggling is not enabled in the free version. So this means I can never turn it off which means I can not access my remote workstation when I am home sitting in front of it. Do you have a recommendation how to fix that. Thanks a lot!

Great to have you in the TeamViewer Community! Thanks for reaching out and for explaining the situation.

In the free version, it is also possible to enable and disable the black screen. This can be done directly on the remote device via the TeamViewer settings.

Please follow the steps described in this Knowledge Base article to turn off the black screen on the remote workstation itself:

Once the black screen is disabled on the remote device, you should be able to access the workstation normally again when you're sitting in front of it.
