API changing group of a device

By using API i change the group of some devices but the api do not work for all of them.

I receiive this messagge from the server teamviewer “nError category:\tinternal_error\r\nError description:\tMoving buddy failed.\r\nError code:\t3”.

iI try  with every toen user created but do not work.

Any solution to suggest?

    Hi @AlbertoC

    Usually this happens when you try to assign a device to a group for a specific account. This account already has the device associated with another private group on which you can not take action.

    Contact your user and ask them to look for the specific device ID in their device list: you will find the device and the group to which it is currently associated and on which you can not act.

    If I'm not mistaken your goal is to associate a specific device with a group that must remain common both for you and for the third account associated with your specific TeamViewer license. Correct?

    Well. My previous reply is correct for you: You can not move a device from a group for which you do not have privileges towards one for which you are authorized.
