File transfer in TV 12.0.89970 will only allow overwriting of files. How can I get it to append?

HI, If the transfer of a file is interrupted and needs to be re-initiated TV will only allow the file to be overwritten. This makes it frustrating when a large file transfer fails at the end and the whole file needs to be transferred again. Is there a way to allow the partially downloaded file to be appended to?
