Deployment newbies - Cant get silent installation running

Hi Teamviewer users,

we want to deploy tv12 in an samba4-ad domain. We generate the custom MSI, change the filename and run the tv_assignment tool successfully. We dont understand the AD integration, so we ignored it.

Now tv12 gets installed, assignment exits with a success message but every domain user logging in is greeted by an tv dialog to assign the machine to a tv account. How can we suppress this.

We are a bit stumped, because our tv9-10 deployments did not make such problems.

Pleace advice:

Is it necessary to integrate tv into the ldap directory? Why?

How can we successfully suppress any tv dialogs for our users.

Hello tv-community,

I am happy to inform You, that our problems have been solved. We had old procedures for legacy versions and steps of the new deployment method mixed and after some search in forum and kb got the relevant informations.

We still have registry entries after running the uninstall routine but are now quite happy with our results.
