I do not want to see any kind of notification when someone in my contact list logs into their pc. I don't give a flying fork and I just want to turn the stupid messages off.

You can disable the notifications in your TeamViewer options.
Click on Extras --> Options --> Computers & Contacts --> Notify me when partners sign in
