Do local LAN connections block a licence channel for others?

We have a corporate licence we 3 channels in our company.

At some times we run out of licenses.

Sometimes Teamviewer is used for connections inside our company network (instead of remotedesktop from windows as with TV both sides can see the screen). I would like to know if there is a difference regarding licence channels, if you activate lokal lan connections and use the IP adress instead of TV-ID?

I assume that 

1. license channels are only consumed when TV is used with TV IDs over the Internet 

2. local usage is unlimited for the users participating in the license (e.g. 200)

I'm interested in getting this assumption confirmed. @TeamviewerSalesTeam
