I very frequently will use a PC (Windows 10Pro) with Teamviewer on my porch to access and work on my Mac Pro in my office (upstairs). Within the last few days there have been two developments. 1) The displays on the Mac (3 of them) are set up to go into energy saving mode after 3 hours. So, in the morning before I return to my office, I will sit, have a cup of coffee on the porch and use Teamviewer to review emails. Now, it is giving me a blank screen which I cannot wake up. I have two options. Go up to my office and wake the screens up manually (mouse movement or keyboard). or teamview to another Mac, screen share to the Mac Pro (which wakes it up) and then disconnect from the small Mac and teamviewer to the Mac Pro. I have not installed any new software on either the PC nor the Mac Prod or done any system changes. 2). Once I have connected to the Mac Pro, I have no difficulties, but upon disconnect, and subsequent return to my office for direct use of the Mac Pro, my background images are now gone. I am presented with just a blue screen background. I have to go into change the backgrounds, pick my images up and return to work. Something has obviously changed and am wondering if anyone else out there is having similar issues.
