Teamviewer number is changing, why?

I have just realized that continously running Teamviewer numbers have been changed. It is not a joke if we are talking support of clients and I cannot connect to laptops or servers cos the numbers have been changed.

Question: Why?

Hi nd,

Thanks for posting.

TeamViewer ID's are static and should not change.

However, last month we did have an issue where we needed to reassign some TeamViewer IDs.
This was a once of change and only occured on the 24/07.

Hello

The ID number changes when working with a different Team Viewer version, e.g. Version 10 or Version 13 etc.
