Can't run Team viewer on MAC

Hi All,

 

I'd like help on how to run Team viewer on macbook. I download, and a small windown appears saying '' double click on the icon to install'', i do and a small window comes up and stays that way for hours. Evidently blocked, not loading or moving forward.

Suggestions please?
