I take security very seriously too. Are you saying that version 12 is no longer maintained about security on recent OS ?

You'll understand that version 15 requires a subscription, and is therefore much more expensive for occasional use.

I downloaded setup (full client), it seems to be v12.0.259312.0 but i couldn't find any information on the changelog.

Hi @ronc13 ,

TeamViewer for personal use requires the use of the newest version of the software.

To remotely connect to any previous version a TeamViewer license is required.

Regarding a specific version 12, you would need to open a ticket with our support team - which also requires a license - to check if it would be possible to still access this specific version.

Is it possible to install specifically the Team Viewer 12.0.224043 instead of the TeamViewer 12.0.259192 package that the website offers to work around having a valid license? Or is having a license the only way to connect?

You can download our previous versions from our website.

Please note that to remote connect to a previous version you need to have a valid TeamViewer license.

I'd like to specifically download this version of Team Viewer:

Although, I cannot find it anywhere on the Team Viewer website. Where can I find this download package for Windows 10 x 64-bit OS? I'd like this package so I can remote into devices within our organization because they specifically run on that older version (Team Viewer 12.0.224043).
